OVERVIEW OF GOAT LORDS
Are you willing to battle with your friends, hurt feelings, and play aggressively to become the Lord of the Goats? If so, then this is the game for you! The goal of the game is to get one thousand points before any other player. Do this by building your herd!
Attack opponents so that you may duel for their goat pile and build your own. Know when to hold ‘em and know when to attack, as you are also a potential target for other players! Attempt to build the largest herd without losing too many.
Setup for this game is quick and easy. Simply remove all the cards from the deck and shuffle them well. Deal four cards to each player, ensuring that they hide them from the other players. The remainder of the cards can be placed face down in the center of the playing area, creating the Draw Pile.
The top card may be revealed and sat next to the Draw Pile, creating the Discard Pile. The player found on the dealer’s left begins the game, gameplay will continue clockwise around the group.
During their turn, players may choose to do one of five things. They may choose to Birth their goats by placing two of the same card in front of them. 사설토토 first pair may never be stolen from you. They may complete an Assisted Birth. If the top card on the discard pile matches a card that a player needs, the player may use it to form a pair.
Players may choose to Duel with other players! They may initiate the duel by showing a goat from their hand that matches that of the pair found on top of the opponent’s goat pile. The only way an opponent can defend their goats is if they play the same goat card again or a wild card. Dueling will continue until a player runs out of matching cards to play. If the attacker wins, they gather all of the played cards and the top cards on the opponent’s goat pile, but if the defender wins, then they can collect all cards played during the duel.
If players cannot complete any of the above-mentioned actions, then they may discard a card and draw a new card. At then end of the turn, players will refresh their hand from the Draw Pile, ensuring that they have the same number of cards that they initially started with. Gameplay continues until a player reaches one thousand points or until the group decides it is over. At this point, the player with the most points wins the game!
END OF GAME
When the draw pile has been emptied, gameplay will continue around the group until their hands are empty. If the Discard Pile has more than five goat cards, then it may be shuffled and used as the new Draw Pile.
The first player to reach one thousand points wins the game. If there is only one round to be played, then the player with the most points wins the game.
