SETUP

Start setup by separating the different types of cards found in the box, then have each player choose a Party Leader character to represent them throughout the game. Each player should place this card in front of them, creating their Party. Roll to determine who gets to choose their leader first.

Next, give each player a rules reference card. Any remaining Party Leader cards and rules reference cards back in the box. Shuffle the rest of the cards together and deal five cards to each player. The remaining cards can be placed in the middle of the table, forming the main deck.

Shuffle the Monster cards and reveal the top three Monster cards by placing them face up in the middle of the table. The remaining cards are placed face down to create the Monster deck. The game is ready to begin!

GAMEPLAY

The player who chose their Party Leader last is the first player, and gameplay continues clockwise around the table. You get three action points to spend during your turn, using them to perform actions.

Some actions cost only one action point. These include drawing a card from the main deck, play an item from your hand, and rolling two dice to use the effect of a Hero placed in your Party. Hero’s effect may only be used once per turn.

Actions that require two action points include attacking a monster card. Actions that require three action points include discarding every card in your hand and drawing five new cards.

If a card’s effect states to complete the action immediately, then no action points are required to do so. Your turn comes to an end when you have no more action points or when you choose to be finished with the turn. Unused action points do not roll over to your next turn.

Types of Cards

Hero Cards:

Each Hero card has a class and effect. Each Hero card’s effect has a roll requirement, and this must be met in order for the effect to be used. When you play a Hero card from your and into your party, you must immediately roll the dice to meet the roll requirement.

Once the Hero card is added to your party, you may use an action point to attempt to use its effects once per turn. You do not get the action point back if the roll requirement is not met.

Item Cards:

Item cards are enchanted weapons and items that may be used to equip your Hero cards. Some cards have positive effects. Some cards have negative effects, and they may be equipped to enemy Hero cards in order to give them a disadvantage.

Item cards must be equipped to a Hero card when they are played. This is done by sliding the item card underneath a Hero card. Only one Item card can be equipped at a time. If a Hero card is destroyed, stolen, or returned to your hand, the same is done to the Item card.

Magic Cards:

Magic cards are powerful cards that have a one-time effect. After the effect on the card has been used, immediately discard the card.

Modifier Cards:

Modifier cards may be used to modify any dice roll in the game by the amount stated on the card. Modifier cards are immediately discarded after they have been used. Some cards have two options you may choose from. Simply choose and then discard the card.

Each player may play any number of Modifier cards on the same roll. Once everyone has finished, combine the total change from all the Modifier cards and adjust the roll total accordingly.

Challenge Cards:

Challenge cards are used to stop another player from playing a Hero card, Item card, or Magic card. When a player begins to play any of these cards, you may play a Challenge card. The challenge is then initiated.

Each of you will roll the two dice. If you score higher or equal to, then you win the challenge, and the player must discard the card they were attempting to play. If they roll higher or equal to you, then they win and may continue with their turn.

Players may only be challenged once per turn. Another player can not challenge a second time in the same turn.

Party Leaders:

Party leaser cards can be distinguished by their large size and light-colored backs. Each one has a class and skill that gives you a unique advantage throughout the course of the game. These are not considered Hero cards, as they may be used each time until their conditions are met.

Party leader cards cannot be sacrificed, 사설토토 , stolen, or returned, so they will remain in your hand throughout the whole game.

Monsters:

The monster cards can be quickly distinguished from the other cards by their large size and blue backs. Any monster card that is facing up in the middle of the table can be attacked, costing two action points. Party requirements found on the monster cards must be met before they can be attacked.

Also, in order to attack a monster, the roll requirement must be met. If you roll two dice and score equal to or higher than the monster card’s roll requirement, you slay that monster card. Monster cards are able to fight back within a certain roll range, so be aware while rolling!

Each time a monster is slain by you, your party gains a new skill, which is found at the bottom of the monster card. This card is then added to your party and placed next to your Party leader card. Reveal another monster card when one has been slain.

END OF GAME

There are two ways to bring an end to the game and become the winner! You may slay three monster cards, or you may end your turn with a full party. This means that your party represents six different classes. If you complete either of these actions first, you are declared the winner!
