OVERVIEW OF QUINTO

Quinto is similar to other trick taking games, with four players playing in teams of two. The thing that sets Quinto apart from other trick taking games is that it does not contain a trump suit, but instead, all cards have a relative ranking. Players must try to earn 250 points before any other team.

SETUP

To begin setup, the partnerships must be determined. This is done by drawing random cards from a shuffled deck. The two players who draw the highest scoring cards are paired together, and the two players with the lowest scoring cards are paired together.

Players should sit across from their teammates. After the teams have been chosen, the players seat themselves, and the dealer shuffles and deals the cards. The player who drew the highest scoring card gets to be the first dealer.

The dealer will shuffle and cut the deck. The deal continues in a clockwise manner around the group, beginning with the player found to the left of the dealer. The dealer will deal twelve cards to each player, and the rest of the cards are placed face down in the middle of the table. This is referred to as the cachette. The game is ready to begin.

GAMEPLAY

The player to the left of the dealer will lead the first trick. They may choose to play any card from their hand to lead. Each player must then try to play a card from the same suit. If they so not have a matching card, then they may play any card from their hand.

After all of the players have played a 메이저놀이터추천 to the hand, the winner can be chosen. Each card in the deck has a ranking. The trick is won by the highest card played in the trick.

Card scoring from high to low are ace, King, Queen, Jack, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, and two. In order from high to low, the suits are Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, and Spades. The player who wins the trick, based off of these scorings, will lead the next trick.

Quints are a combination of cards found in a trick that score additional points. Two cards that have a sum of five and are of the same suit are considered a Quint. They are only found within the same trick and are immediately scored.

A Quint of Jokers is worth twenty-five points, a Quint of Hearts is worth twenty points, a Quint of Diamonds is fifteen points, a Quint of Clubs is ten points, and a Quint of Spades is five points. The player who wins the last trick of the hand collects the cachette as well.

After all the tricks have been played, the scoring begins. Teams earn five points for each trick that was won, with the cachette counting as a trick for the purpose of scoring. The first team to win 250 points wins the game!

The game comes to an end when a team scores 250 points. This team is declared the winners!
